Hey there, Planera. I’m currently

but in the meantime I put this

For the past three and a half years I’ve led design at OneVest, a wealth management platform for banks and advisory firms. In that time I’ve directed or designed 20+ features across web and mobile, managed our legacy design system while designing its replacement, and most recently took our new agentic platform from first sketch to first signed client in five months. Different industry, similar problem: professionals who depend on entrenched tools, low tolerance for error, and a product that has to feel coherent while it scales fast.

OneVest

OneVest builds wealth management infrastructure for banks and advisory firms across North America. I led design on a new AI-native platform for financial advisors and back-office teams, covering client onboarding, account opening, and money movement. Its core surface is Pulse, a shared activity feed where teams communicate in-product and assign tasks to an agent. An entitlements engine controls visibility down to the field level, keeping sensitive client data protected inside a collaborative workspace.

The legacy platform had grown without a shared foundation. I designed its replacement: a semantic token architecture and component library built to scale and hand off cleanly to engineering. Two-tier tokens separate primitive values from their application, so theming and future changes flow from one source rather than dozens of hardcoded decisions. Components are documented with variants, states, and usage rules, structured for direct implementation.

Outcomes: From first sketch to a signed enterprise client in five months. Legacy platform clients are now asking to migrate to the new system.

First Republic Bank

As an ACD at product design agency YML, I co-led ~10 designers working on First Republic Bank's mobile app team. With an overarching mandate of modernizing their digital experience, my team and I worked closely with the VP of UX, serving as the de facto in-house design team while they backfilled roles internally, helping stand up their first design system, and shipping features such as bill pay, mobile check deposit, FRB instant transfers, and secure messaging.

Outcomes: The design system and app redesign improved consistency across the experience, allowed teams to ship faster, and helped First Republic remain competitive with a digital service offering that could go toe-to-toe with neobanks and fintechs.

Role: Associate Creative Director

Scope: Stakeholder management, creative and design direction, mentorship, resource planning, IC feature design

Rohit Homes

With 80% of total sales being quick possessions and over 70% of web traffic coming from mobile, Rohit Homes' web experience was not optimized for mobile and was leading to higher-than-expected bounce rates. I designed a new mobile-first experience focused on discovery and decision support for a high-stakes purchase, leaning into Rohit's brand and product differentiators, including their unique Designer Interiors home styles.

Outcomes: Along with an accompanying ad campaign, the launch of the new mobile site led to a 6,815% increase in web traffic, of which 31% were returning visitors. Conversions increased by 71%, with 45% of visitors completing a conversion action.

Hone Athletics

Hone is a mental health platform created to help high-performance youth athletes better manage the pressures of elite sport. Athletes rate their wellbeing across seven stressors each week through a mobile app, while coaches receive anonymized scores through the web dashboard with trend data, session tools, and guidance rooted in the founders' clinical practice. I designed the product experience as well as the brand identity.

Outcomes: Since launching, Hone has signed high-profile teams and youth sport organizations such as the OHL (Ontario Hockey League), has a 4.5 rating on the App Store, and enjoys a yearly client retention rate of 92%.

Booster Juice

As Canada's largest independently owned juice and smoothie retailer, Booster Juice was in need of a new website that provided a better user experience, particularly on mobile, as well as increased operational efficiency for the company. I led a small team to design the new mobile-first experience, bringing their brand to life with fresh photography, improved navigation, and a proposed online ordering experience (pitched but not shipped).
